  • An Exposed Wet Seal System can be used for any application. This system consists of a ½" joint filled with a backer rod and sealant.

    A Back Ventilated Dry Joint System cannot be used in a curved application. All curved and skyward joints must be caulked and a self healing membrane must be utilized to encapsulate the building envelope prior to installation of wall panels. This system consists of a ½" open dry joint that includes an aluminum composite spline piece to create an open reveal.

  • 3mm panels are typically only used for program colors/finishes.

    4mm is the industry’s standard panel thickness.

    6mm is available but requires SF minimum requirements and is more expensive.

    It is the recommendation to use a 4mm panel thickness for your project.

  • A PE core is the industry standard panel core.

    A FR core panel is to be used above 40’- 0” finish grade to meet the International Building Code or if your city specifically requires a FR core (i.e. Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City).

    A FR core requires SF minimum requirements and is more expensive.

    It is recommended that a PE core is used unless the panels are above 40’- 0” finish grade or FR core is specifically required by the city’s code.

  • 2-coat colors are non-metallic, opaque colors that do not have grain directions.

    3-coat colors are metallic colors and do have grain directions.

    Custom colors do have minimum square foot requirements, extended lead times, must have a signed approval before the fabricator can order material, and are more costly than standard colors.

    Class I Anodized colors do have minimum square foot requirements, extended lead times, NO WARRANTY, and are more costly than standard colors.
